As the cost of living soars, more and more of us are going hungry at school because we don’t have the money to get food. The fact we’re one of the richest economies in the world and young people don’t have access to at least one nutritious meal a day is shocking. - Biteback 2030

It’s a fact — more than 800,000 children living in poverty in England aren’t currently eligible for free school meals.

Campaigner Christina launched a petition to extend eligibility for free school meals to all those in need because she couldn’t understand how one of the richest nations of the world couldn’t provide access to at least one nutritious meal a day for children living in food poverty.
